Republic Day was celebrated at St. Peters School with National fervor and gaiety on Sunday, 26th January 2020. The two-hour-long program commenced at 9 am with the arrival of our chief guest, Maam Aishwarya Chandra additional civil judge, junior division, Pratapgardh, U.P. It was truly a matter of pride and honor for St. Peters College to welcome their own former brilliant scholar Aishwarya Chandra as the chief guest at the function. The program began with the prayer by a teacher Miss. Pallavi Singh invoking God's blessings citizens of the country. Thereafter the Principal Rev. Fr. Louis Mascarenhas extended a hearty welcome to chief guest back to her Alma Mater. He enumerated some of the noble qualities that have taken her to great heights. Many Patriotic songs and dances were presented by the students of the college which infused and revived the patriotic feelings among the audience. In her address, the chief guest expressed her feelings of joy and gratitude and thanked the Principal and teachers for helping her to reach the milestone. She also exhorted the students to value the fundamental right and duties and work hard to achieve their goals in life.
